The Adventure Begins!

After months of dreaming, talking and planning, the day has finally arrived. It’s time to put the pedal to the metal and begin Mike and Becky’s Excellent Adventure. Our goal is to see as much of our beautiful western U. S. of A as we can in a 3 month time frame – give or take a few days.
Mike wanted to leave at 7am. I said 8 am. We agreed on 7:30. Hopefully compromise will be the secret to our success all along this journey!
So, with our Jeep hooked up behind us, and the bikes hooked on the Jeep, we left sunny Zephyrhills, Florida with our first stop an overnight stay in the Panhandle of Florida – a 7 hour drive. Jeff and Julie are there on spring break so it is a perfect stop on our way to our first destination - New Orleans!
